Tennis instruction in the US runs from a certified teaching pro giving private lessons on a park court to full academies with fitness staff, boarding and tournament travel. Private lessons are priced per hour, semi-private and group clinics cost less per player, and most clubs run junior programs after school and adult drills in the evening. The USTA organizes the national rating (NTRP) and the adult and junior leagues most players join; the USPTA and PTR certify coaches. Summer camps take kids by the week or the day and usually include lunch and match play. Stadiums and event venues host college matches, USTA sanctioned tournaments and the occasional exhibition, with free or low-cost admission for most of them.

What I like about the Y experience is the people and the activities. The staff has always welcome me and my family from the time we enter the doors or pull up for camp. The various activities that are presented give my family options for ways to engage. Most importantly the summer camp has DAILY activities that kept the kids excited and built their confidence; all while being financially friendly!

I would like to share how amazing the swimming instructors are at this YMCA . I watch them every time my two boys go in for their swimming lessons. They really care, they make sure the kids feel safe and feel comfortable while they are in the water during their sessions and that the kids are being safe and listening to their directions. Ms. Julie the swim lesson coordinator, made sure to put my two boys Christian and Braylon with whom she felt will tailor to their needs. I love how they work as a team. Cera and Andrea are my boys instructors and they both go over and beyond to assure they learn how to swim and are comfortable enough to move to the next level. With them teaching my boys how to swim they now have confidence and want to do it again and again. I will be signing them up for more sessions and hopefully we get the same instructor being they are awesome and my boys are familiar with them. I thank them every time the session is over. I canβt wait until the next session start. I recommend going to this YMCA to get swimming lessons .

I was born in Bad News and this was my first "home gym." I learned how to swim here and other sorts of early life experiences. I don't live in NN anymore or even able to afford any Y membership in this economy, but I think this place is pretty cool. I can still smell the chlorine. ππ»ββοΈ

We appreciate the gym childcare! Both morning and evening staff have been really friendly! They do a good job at creating crafts for the children and making it a safe environment for the children to play. Also the childcare supervisor does an awesome job at running the gym childcare. I can see she cares for the welfare of the children, is kind, and organized! One of the best ymca gym childcare supervisors I came across so far!

I really enjoyed the swim class! The instructor was so patient with all of us. I liked her a lot and wish she taught an advanced class so that I could further my skills. Would definitely recommend this class to friends and family.
